Que Tragedy!

So, kinda bad stuff lately.  Not too bad though.

First, one of my magnety balls has gone missing!  Now, I know what you're thinking.  "Paige, there are like a ton of magnety balls.  Who cares if you lose one?"  Wrong!  There are not a ton, there are 216.  And 216 was a magic number.  Just the perfect amount to make everything!  Divisible by three, divisible by 6, and divisible by 9.  It was always just enough to make the shapes I needed without any left over.  215 is not magic!  It's a disaster!  It's almost not worth playing with them anymore.  I lost the ball in my room the other night, and believe me, a thorough search will be conducted.  And dagnabbit!  Just looked on the website, and they don't sell them individually.  My magnety balls are called Bucky Balls, and I chose that brand because they were available at Game Daze at the mall.  I know another brand, Zen Magnets, sells theirs individually for cases such as this, but if their magnets are just a teeny bit bigger or smaller than my magnets, the magnets won't align correctly.  Oh!  Woe is me!

Then earlier today I was an hour late for work.  I thought I was working the afternoon shift, but I actually had to work in the morning.  Luckily my boss blamed it on the fact that he changed the schedule, but I still really should have known my hours.  What an idiot I am!

Another work related boo-boo that happened today:  Whataburger has this thing called the Whatagames every year in Texas.  It's kind of a quiz thing, with prizes.  Anyway, they call with three phone surveys to see if your store will go or not.  Unfortunately, I answered the phone today.  I only got one out of five questions right!  I felt horrible!  I really am an idiot!

Well, despite all this bout of bad luck, my day doesn't feel ruined.  My mood is still relatively high.  I'm going to sub for my mom's Bunko group tonight, and my aunt and uncle are in town so tomorrow I get an expensive dinner.  Yay!

  1. I'm sorry about your magnet ball, I hope you find it! I'm glad you were alright at work with the confusion of hours. I hope you have fun with Bunko and dinner with your aunt and uncle! :)
